The exact sequence varies by project, but the decision and control points remain consistent.

Initial consultation

Understand the project, stakeholders, functional need, budget direction and target timeline.

Site survey

Measure, photograph and assess access, services, condition and technical constraints.

Concept planning

Develop layouts, design direction, material intent and package requirements.

3D visualisation

Communicate key spaces, finishes and design expectations before execution.

Scope & quotation

Define deliverables, specifications, exclusions, payment milestones and validity.

Procurement & execution

Mobilise teams, procure approved materials and coordinate site activities.

Quality & snag review

Inspect work, identify pending items and complete corrective actions.

Handover & support

Clean, document and hand over the completed project with agreed support terms.

Decision controls

Approvals should happen before irreversible work.

Layouts, material samples, electrical points, plumbing interfaces, ceiling design, furniture details and colour selections should be documented and approved at the appropriate stage.
